The company also operates terminals for the sale of high-grade cement from HeidelbergCement plants located abroad.

Russian company overview:
In 2001, HeidelbergCement acquired Cesla Cement Plant in the town of Slantsy, Leningrad Region,
170 kilometers from Saint Petersburg.
In 2006, HeidelbergCement acquired Gurovo-Beton, a facility producing non-metallic construction materials in the work settlement of Novogurovsky, Tula Region. The facility was used as the base for beginning the construction of a new cement plant in 2007. Tulacement, a plant with a capacity of 2 million tonnes, was put into operation in 2011. In 2015, the plant was made part of HeidelbergCement Rus as a branch.
Construction Materials, a cement plant and currently the branch of HeidelbergCement Rus in Sterlitamak, became part of HeidelbergCement in 2011, being one of the largest cement plants in the Urals and the only cement manufacturer in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
