South-Kyrgyz Cement

South-Kyrgyz Cement is one of the largest domestic producers of cement, supplying about 40 % of total production in Kyrgyz Republic. The plant is located in Kyzyl-Kiya town of Batken region. The production capacity is 1 million tons of cement per year.  Cement produced at the plant is provided mainly to Batken, Osh and Jalal-Abad regions of Kyrgyzstan. It is also exported to the Republic of Tajikistan. Today the plant employs 800 people.

The construction of the plant in Kyzyl-Kiya town started in 2008. In 2010, the Verny Capita Group, in partnership with the cement holding Italcementi, commissioned the plant with modern “dry method” technologies for the efficient production of high-quality cement. Since 2013, Verny Capital has been developing the project on its own.
